Michael Bierut studied graphic at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Artchitecture, Art, and Planning. He spent ten years working for Massimo Vignelli and is currently a partner at Pentagram in New York City. He is the co-founder of the website Design Observer and an AIGA Medalist. His clients include Saks Fifth Aveny, Mohawk Paper Mills, the Walt Disney Company, The New York Times, and The Yale School of Architecture. His new book, How to, was released this year.
