Annual Portfolio Day

Annual Portfolio Day brings together educators, professional designers and art directors to review the portfolios of graduating AIGA Cincinnati student members. Students will have the opportunity to present their portfolios to 3-4 professionals from the visual communications field. 


(Please note: Students must be AIGA Student Members to participate for FREE, as well as being in their graduation year.) Non-member students can participate for a cost of $35. Keep in mind AIGA membership at the contributing level only costs $50 annually, and will include free or discounted participation to many upcoming events, as well as tons of national benefits. Students, please note that if you are an AIGA Student Member, you must go through the AIGA Cincinnati website, log in, and then sign up for the event in order to get the member price.

10:00 -10:30 - Review Session I

10:30 -11:00 - Review Session II

11:00 -11:30 - Review Session III

11:30 -12:00 - Review Session IV

Portfolio Tips and Limitations

Participants will have a table space approximately 3 x 4ft. on which to display their portfolios. Show only your best work—no more than ten to twelve pieces. (Some reviewers may only look at a few pieces based on their preference.) Plan to bring your own laptop to present a digital portfolio.


AIGA Portfolio Scholarship Awards

Scholarship awards will be made to the top three portfolios, judged by the AIGA Cincinnati Board members. After registration, please send a PDF portfolio of 10-12 pieces to eh.deroquette@gmail.com in order to be considered.
