Cincinnati Design Week is Officially Official

Thanks to the City of Cincinnati, September 28 – October 2 has officially been proclaimed ‘Design Week’! Here’s the proclamation:

Be It Proclaimed:

 

Whereas, Cincinnati is home to many of the nation’s most creative and innovative designers, and this design community represents a vital cultural force in our community; and

Whereas, AIGA Cincinnati has been supporting the professional development of designers and advancement of our creative community for twenty eight years; and

Whereas, Cincinnati Design Week has connected, celebrated, and inspired our creative community for four consecutive years;

Whereas, design has proven to be a strategic tool for the advancement of the Cincinnati business community—many organizations of which are on the forefront of international innovation; and

Whereas, the City of Cincinnati, Ohio recognizes this legacy of design excellence and the power of design to affect positive change and economic growth;

 

Now, Therefore, John Cranley,

Mayor of the City of Cincinnati do hereby proclaim September 28 – October 2

“Design Week” in Cincinnati.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused this seal of the City of Cincinnati to be affixed this second day of October in the year Two Thousand and Fifteen.
