At Rhinegeist, we believe beer brings people together. Join us for an inspiring exploration of how design fuels the spirit of community right here in Cincinnati. This session will delve into the stories behind two impactful initiatives: Cincy Light, a brand that champions student athletes at the University of Cincinnati, and Beer for Humans, our community engagement platform dedicated to spotlighting local causes and fostering human connection. Discover how creating beautiful, thoughtful designs isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about crafting objects and experiences that resonate with and uplift the community. From the spirit embedded in every can of beer to the intentionality behind our community programs, learn how Rhinegeist Brewery embodies the true essence of “Geist”—spirit—through design.

Mike is a proud UC graduate with a deep-rooted love for Over-the-Rhine. After seven years in San Francisco working at the renowned agency Turner Duckworth, Mike felt the pull of home, like so many before, and returned to Cincinnati. Back in the neighborhood, He joined the goDutch team, collaborating with some truly amazing local designers. Today, he is living the dream at Rhinegeist Brewery, where the spirit of the community and the craft of design and beer come together in perfect harmony.
