Closing Keynote with Tysonn Betts

This year's closing keynote presentation will be given by Tysonn Betts, Design Vice President- Right Brain to the Business, Global Family Care at The Procter & Gamble Co.

About Tysonn Betts:

Big smiles, a hearty laugh, the quest for big ideas, and great design is Tysonn Betts; Right Brainto the Business- Design Vice President at Procter & Gamble, who is a passionate and recognizedconnector within the community. Tysonn and his wife, Tracz reside in Clifton and jugglesattention and commitments between his professional, community, and family obligationsincluding their 5 children, and one grandchild.

Tysonn is a proud and accomplished graduate of Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham,studied at The Maryland Institute College of Art, in Baltimore; earning his BFA VisualCommunication, and a graduate of Xavier University (Cincinnati), where he received his MBAfrom the Williams College of Business.

A creative provocateur, and Design veteran to the businesses of P&G Tysonn provides strategicleadership for the holistic integration of end-to-end design, and partners to build inclusiveculture for the organizations he helps to lead. Tysonn has helped design, build, and launchsome of the company’s biggest brands and iconic initiatives; where his work has been recognizedboth internally, and externally within the brand, marketing and design industries.

Enthusiastically involved in the design, arts, and communications community, Tysonn is proudto be a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati, as well as one of Cincinnati’s Contemporary ArtCenter’s inaugural “The 50” that enabled free admission to the CAC. Tysonn contributessignificantly through community, industry, and board service; serving as past board president ofboth Art Academy of Cincinnati and Elementz, is currently on the boards of Artswave,Breakthrough Cincinnati, and Cincinnati Public Radio, as well as previously serving on theboard of Frank Duveneck Arts & Cultural Center. Tysonn most recently partnered to createHuenited Collective, a local creative coalition on diversity & equity; collaborating with industry,educational and corporate partners to spearheaded new thinking and action to address andbuild greater diversity within the design and advertising industry.

A southerner at heart, and country boy at his core, simple pleasures and the great outdoors arenot lost on this busy firebrand, whether it be on a road bike ride, sporting clays, a quiet walk, orsearching the bourbon trail for more of Kentucky’s finest!
