Workshop: Owning Your Personal Branding Game

How’s your resume? How about your digital footprint? How are your interview chops? Are you confident? Kinda confident? Lost? So much of what we believe about finding jobs, getting jobs and keeping jobs was determined in 1973. It’s 2019 and emerging designers weren’t born to play by those rules.

This fast and fun hour is about who you really are. We’ll share compelling stories and reveal how you can stand out by being truly YOU and living in integrity. Bring your resume and your tough questions. You will leave with answers, new ideas and fresh inspiration.

Keynote: “Thank U, Next”

We’re so freakin’ grateful for our past experiences, but at some point in your professional career you’ll probably ask yourself, “is it time to look for another job?” Sometimes our passions and goals change over the course of our professional career, but deciding whether or not to leave a job for a new opportunity can still be a tough decision. During this keynote presentation, we’ll hear two designers speak honestly about when they knew it was time to move on and what it’s like to tell an employer goodbye. Whether you’re actively looking for new opportunities, or just wondering if maybe you should take that phone call with a recruiter—this talk will give you the inside scoop to know when it’s time to say thank you, next.

Our Keynote Speakers:

  • Troy Woolery, Competency Manager of User Experience and Senior UX Consultant, Fusion Alliance
  • Mandy Lehman, Designer/Photographer, MANMAN
