About the event
AIGA Cincinnati will be hosting a happy hour and networking event paired with a donation drive for Toys for Tots on Thursday, November 18 from 6-7 pm at Homemakers bar.
Enjoy some camaraderie from your fellow designers and creative professionals at a laid-back venue. We will be offering a chance at prizes from our raffle drawings for participating in our Toys for Tots donation drive and for suggestions on AIGA activities in the coming year.
About the raffle
Earn a raffle entry for every toy donated and a second raffle will be held for participating in our community feedback activity.
Prizes include $25 gift cards supporting local Cincinnati businesses. Must be present to win.
About toy donations
Toys must be new and unwrapped. Toys must be appropriate for children ranging in ages from 0 to 13 years old. They cannot be used and cannot realistically resemble any type of weapon. However, water guns and nerf guns are acceptable as long as they do not look realistic.
Additionally for pre-teens, you may consider sporting equipment/bags/balls; books, backpacks, cosmetics, purses, watch/wallet gift sets, bath gift sets, board games, radio control cars/trucks, hand-held electronics, skateboards/helmets, curling irons, hair straighteners, and hair dryers.
If you don't feel comfortable bringing a toy to the event, we will also honor raffle entries for proof of online cash donation to Toys for Tots.

About Toys for Tots
The Cincinnati-area Toys for Tots organization distributes thousands of toys to area families throughout the Tri-State. This year, the Marine Corps Reserve will collaborate with the Salvation Army for the toy collection and distribution campaign. These two organizations have over 200 years of history serving children in need. The Salvation Army will handle the individual family registration and distribution process for the Tri-State Toys for Tots. The Marine Corps will still conduct the Toys for Tots Campaign as in previous years.
