About Jeff Staple:
Founder of Staple Design, Jeff NG, or better known as Jeff Staple, has a strong desire to communicate through design. Staple began his career as an entry level data clerk in a design firm, having no pervious knowledge of design software, and quickly moved to a position as an instructor in just 6 months.
After the realization of his passion for design Staple withdrew from NYU and enrolled at the Parsons School of Design in 1995 as a communication design major.
Staple completely immersed himself in the world of design, attending classes, interning with Pioneer Streetwear clothing company, and a part time job in graphic design at c.i.t.e. design. In his spare time Staple expressed himself through a small t-shirt printing operation that would soon become an entire men’s collection. On March 7th 1997, he wore that shirt to a boutique in SoHo called Triple Five Soul and walked out with an order for 12 more.
That same year Staple turned his one man t-shirt shop into a men’s clothing line that focused on providing consumers with the essentials in a fashionable way, and the full service design firm, Staple. With the growth of the firm has stemmed several other successful ventures including Staple Pigeon, Reed Space and even a limited release sneaker through a partnership with Nike.
