A lot of creatives feel like it's not ok to stop or slow down, but cultivating mindfulness is one of the most important things you can do as a creative. Now that we’re halfway through the year, AIGA is here to help you take a pause and check in on your self-care goals! Join us for some practical steps for self-care and mindfulness at work (and anywhere!). Sarah Jenkins from The Original Method will show us mindfulness practices that stick and some great ways to get started. During this event, we’ll learn chair yoga moves, and discuss methods for actually taking those important mindfulness breaks. In addition to the discussion and practice exercises, we’ll take some time for a meditative walk and look for special souvenirs to help us stick to our mindfulness goals for the rest of 2019.
6:00–6:10pm | Introductions
